Walking is one of the best ways to see spectacular Queenstown, with most of the local beauty spots easily accessible on foot. For a brisk short hill climb, try local favourite Queenstown Hill, with spectacular views of the Remarkables and Cecil Peak from the summit – or why not challenge yourself by hiking Ben Lomond, one of the tallest peaks in the Queenstown region. Closer to Stoneridge, the gentle track around Lake Hayes is perfect for a leisurely stroll before dinner.
